Taking a Break

This has to have been one of the busiest seasons of my life. As I am writing this, I am 19 days into my 21 day work-everyday stretch between my two jobs, so I have been little quiet on my art social media account, if you follow that. If not, you can find it HERE.

I am trying to learn what gives me life, and what drains me, and I am learning that reading is very life giving, and even though I love it ( and sometimes hate it ), art is very draining to me. This is why I have taken a bit of break from making and posting about art. I was so excited about my birds of a feather collection and am happy to be able to take a little rest as I plan to do a lot of traveling in the month of September.

I have a baby shower in Virginia, a fourth birthday party in Iowa and a 102nd birthday party in Iowa. I am so looking forward to seeing loved ones, but I am already feeling warn out from all the travel this year, so I am leaning as hard as I can into hobbies that I feel like give me life. I am going to be taking quite a few books along with me on my travels and look forward to telling you all, all about them!
