New Home

Eli and I will be moving into our first place together that will be just us. This year we have lived with my sister for a stint, and then with Eli’s brother and his wife. We have felt blessed to be able to spend this time with them, but are also really looking forward to having a place to call our own. A coworker, and friend, of mine asked me the other day what I thought I was going to do for the decorations, and it got me thinking, while I have multiple boards for what I want our forever home to look like, I am really not sure what I want this apartment to look like. We just signed the lease the other day, so we now actually have a place that we can start envisioning ourselves in, so let the moldboarding begin!

If you want to keep up with all of my ideas, you can follow the board here, but here are some moldboards for the overall feel that I think I am going to be going for:

I want the space to be a haven filled with southing colors, and lots of texture. I want to get some removable wallpaper for a couple of the spaces (and maybe live out my dream of having a mermaid themed bathroom). I want there to be a lot art on the walls and pictures of us. I want there to be a lot of life, and I want it to look like we live there. I am so excited to see how this space turns out.
