At A Loss For Worlds: A 2020 Thought

June 28, 2020

2020 has been quite a year so far. We have dealt with widespread illness, canceled plans, isolation, being unemployed for some and being overworked for overs, racism, judgement based on occupation, and that is just scratching the surface. But this year hasn’t been all bad. Life has used the aches and pains to help us to learn about each other and grow in understanding of each other (at least it has for me). I have learned that I’ve been blind to a lot of things. That I, kind of, feel indestructible, and that masks aren’t just for me, but also for those I’m interacting with. I have learned that I need people more than I pretend to not.

The world is a bit of a mess, but it is always the messiest before the revival. The world is changing and it is about dang time.
