Summer Reading List
June 1, 2024
Honestly, I am not sure why I make these lists anymore. I am so bad at following them. I go completely rouge and just read whatever I want, but here we are with another reading list!
Spring was so great, reading wise, and while June might be the busiest month of my life, I still plan to make some time to read this month. I have a list saved on my Spotify that I am excited to listen to as well as read the physical books. If you do not have Spotify premium (or were just unaware) they recently started having audio books as well as music and podcasts, and it is life changing. I only have a certain number of hours I am allowed to listen to a month, with my current plan, but it has been very nice to be able to listen to books on the way to work, or while I am doing a chore I do not like.
Anyway, I am so excited about the books that I am going to read this summer, so here is a list of books that are on my list and I am hoping to read or listen to over the next three months:
Persuasion by Jane Austen
Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt
Yours, From The Tower by Sally Nicholls
Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
The Body Keeps Score by Bessel Van Der Kolk M.D.
The House We Grew Up In by Lisa Jewell
Her Radiant Curse Elizabeth Lim
Seven Days In June by Tia Williams
Every Summer After by Carley Fortune
The Absinthe Underground by Jamie Pacton
Local Woman Missing by Mary Kubica
Normal People by Sally Rooney
Wurthering Heights by Emily Brontë
We will see what we get accomplished during these busy months, but I would love to get a couple of these knocked off my list!
