Five Sketchbook Prompts For When You’re Feeling STUMPED

  1. pick three things you see where you are at right now and take a moment to take in the surroundings

  2. use a medium that you haven’t before and just play a little with how it feels on the page and then make patterns and scribble mindlessly

  3. grab a mirror and draw a part of yourself or a view of yourself that you have not tried before

  4. pull things out of your fridge or pantry and make a little still life for yourself

  5. think of your favorite place and paint/draw/sketch it from memory
