Book Review: Local woman Missing by Mary Kubica

June 7, 2024

I feel like I can’t say a lot about this book because I don’t want to give anything away.

One of my favorite books was written by Mary Kubica so I was expecting to at least like this book, but it was so twisty and kept me on my toes the whole time. We follow along with a story, both back in time 11 years ago, when two women were found dead and a little girl went missing, and present tense and that little girl shows up. Mary writes from multiple points of view and does a great job of having a different voice for each different character.

I will warn you, if you are sensitive to sexual assault, violence, kidnapping and manipulation, this is relatively mild, but does touch on these topics. Overall I highly recommend.
