My dearest love,

Thank you for loving me.

I am not sure how I ever lived life without you.

You fill my days with color and my nights with comfort.

You ease my fears and push me to pursue my dreams ( even when I don’t know what they are. )

You love me better than I knew possible, and in ways I didn’t know I needed to be loved.

You are deeply compassionate, wildly generous and fiercely loyal.

You are funny and brilliant and vibrant and kind.

I have never met anyone like you, and in all the years of knowing you, no one has come close to comparing to you. ( and believe me, I tried. )

You are the same person as the boy I fell in love with when I was 12 years old in so many ways, and still you are far more wonderful than I knew you were back then.

You were my first ( and longest ) heartache and my constant daydream for many years.

I will never have learn enough about you, heard enough of your stories or hugged you long enough to be content.

I will never get used to you.
